Lilly Wachowski, Bill Plympton and Geofrey Darrow at Comic-Con 2004
Geofrey Darrow was the conceptual designer and storyboard artist for The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded,The Matrix Revolutions and The Matrix Resurrections. He also drew the comic "Bits and Pieces of Information" for The Matrix Website based on a script written by the Wachowskis. He also worked with the Wachowskis on Shaolin Cowboy for Burlyman Entertainment and the film Speed Racer.
Darrow is well-known for creating imagery of bio-mechanical equipment and beings. Before working with the Wachowskis, Darrow did the artwork for Frank Miller's graphic novel, Hard Boiled.

- According to Bill Plympton, when Darrow was working in Australia on one of the Matrix films, when one of his production designers was asked to draw storyboards for a new scene, they admitted that despite working as a CGI animator, they couldn't actually draw.[1]
